Steff and Brett's wedding at the Kellogg Center gardens was a wedding I had looked forward to for months.  Both of them are massive Spartan fans and as such, we did their engagement photos on campus at Michigan State in the fall.  I absolutely loved every second we spent wandering around campus.  They're the kind of people you feel like you've known forever- the kind with the warmest hearts and their affection for each other is contagious.  It was a huge blessing to spend the afternoon with them and I knew their wedding was going to be something super special.

While planning their wedding, they lived in New York City and worked with the amazing Emily with All Grand Events to coordinate their floral design and decor.  They opted for a palette of blush, gold and ivory, which complemented the timeless, romantic feel of the day.  Steff's bouquet of roses was absolutely stunning and was the perfect accent to the lace on her gown.  Sooooo beautiful!!  You'll see much more of Emily's incredible work in part two to follow, when we check out their big celebration.

The ceremony was held on the pavilion in the gardens behind Kellogg and the lush trees and brick patio was the perfect setting.  Brett's aunt officiated their ceremony and well... there wasn't a dry eye in attendance.  Their vows were sweet, funny and poignant.  Their ring exchange might be one of my most favorite EVER... keep an eye out for Brett's aunts reaction.  She couldn't hold back her giant grin as they promised each other forever.  It was so heartwarming.

More to come in part two... gorgeous reception decor, details and DANCING!!!  Oh and I can't forget Sparty!!  Till then!  xo
